This is a guided journal that uses interventions from therapeutic models within psychology such as behavioral activation. It has a specific focus on also exploring your relationship with everyday habits. You will have prompts to write about triggers and coping mechanisms with additional emphasis on the elimination or inclusion of habits monthly for self-exploration and self-love.

Each month you will choose a habit you wish to eliminate or add to your life while focusing on ways to improve the likelihood you will stick to your goal over the month. At the end of the month you will choose what your relationship with that habit will be moving forward in your life while entering the new month focused on a different habit. At the end of the year you will continue to reflect on your choices.

This model of exploring a habit is also based on the harm reduction model where the goal may not be to abstain from something forever, but rather to focus on how to decrease harm to one's life by reducing or changing the level of use of a specific habit to create more balance.
